  • Engineering Work
    • NASA engineer since 1980 - Main area of current research is Reconfigurable Control Systems.
      • Associate Principle Investigator for NASA's Hypersonics Project: GNC Discipline (2005-Present)
      • Worked on the Jupiter Icy Moon Orbiter Control Structure Interaction analysis (2003-2005),
      • Independent researcher at NASA AMES Research Center to investigate the use of Artificial Neural Network Control technologies for reconfigurable aircraft control systems (1996-2003).
      • Principle investigator for the neural network group in the Assessment Technology Branch at NASA Langley Research Center. (1993-1996)
      • Principle investigator of a 3 year project to develop a real-time nonlinear controller based on neural networks. Directed four NASA engineers, two professors and four graduate students. (1991-1994)
      • Worked with a team of engineers in NASA’s Automation Technology Branch to develop and implement one of NASA first multi-robotic arm controller with the integration of vision, force and positions sensors. (1983-1993)
